How do I place an order?
The Crystal and Rhinestone Heat Transfers.com website DOES NOT have a shopping cart. Therefore, please call (310) 721-1107 between 9:00 and 6:00 pacific standard time to place an order by phone. E-mail orders can be sent to orders@crystalandrhinestoneheattransfers.com.
How do I pay for the transfers?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks and US cash. Personal checks must clear before your order is shipped. Personal checks, money orders and cashier's checks need to be made out to me, Alison Wayne. I use a personal bank account for my business to avoid business bank account fees. It's not safe to send credit card numbers in un-secure e-mails, so I only take them over the phone. I will call you for your card number if that is your payment method of choice.
How much is shipping?
We charge a flat rate of $7.50 for shipping on "regular" orders. If the transfer/s is extra large, shipping will be $10.00. If you're ordering in bulk, shipping will be quoted at time of order. These shipping rates are the manufacturer's shipping rates. They ship UPS ground and charged me $6.90 to ship one transfer from a major southern city to Chicago. Sadly, they do not ship USPS which would be significantly cheaper.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
Your order will arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. This manufacturer produces the heat transfers as they are ordered. Your order gets in line for production, and it usually takes 7 to 10 days for your transfer/s to be made. They are shipped UPS ground, so delivery could take up to one week.
Why are some transfers so much more expensive than others?
Blame the Swarovski crystals! The more crystals in the design, the more expensive the transfer. The transfers themselves are a blend of Swarovski crystals, rhinestones and metallic nail heads. If the design has more rhinestones and/or metallic nail heads, it will be cheaper. If you find a design that you like with SV in the item number, that transfer contains Swarovskis. The really expensive transfers are all Swarovski crystals.
Can I have my favorite transfer/s made without Swarovski crystals?
Yes, you can! To make the design/s less expensive, the manufacturer can replace the Swarovski crystals with rhinestones. Since rhinestone transfers cost less, your favorite transfer/s will be less too! Just let us know which transfer/s you like, and we'll quote you a price for making those transfer/s with rhinestones. Rhinestones don't come in as many colors as Swarovski crystals, so some designs may look a smidge different.
Why do I have to order a minimum of two pieces in some of the designs?
The heat transfer manufacturer has a two piece minimum on all transfers that wholesale for less than $15. Since they have a two piece minimum, so do I.
Do the item numbers signify anything?
All of the transfers are made from flat and/or faceted Swarovski crystals, flat and/or faceted rhinestones, and/or flat and/or faceted metallic nail heads. I hope you followed that. Items with "SV" in the item number, like SV1414, denote transfers containing Swarovski crystals. Transfers with item numbers that are only numbers, like 2508, are all metallic nail heads. Items with ND or NDK in their product numbers are either all metallic nail heads or rhinestones and metallic nail heads.
What is your return policy?
Your order will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer. If there is something wrong with the transfer, stones are loose/missing/out of place, contact me immediately to arrange a return. If you got the transfers that you ordered and they were manufactured correctly, they are NOT RETURNABLE.
How can these transfers be used?
Heat transfers are meant to be applied to fabric. Fabrics that work well are cotton, wool, lycra, stretch velour, polyester, nylon, linen, denim and silk. DO NOT USE ON LEATHER. Consequently, you can apply these transfers to jeans and denim jackets. You can apply them to t-shirts on the chest or the sleeves or the back. You can apply them on pant or shirt pockets or on your favorite hat/cap. You can put them on your nylon sports jackets or your child's book bag. You can even apply them on pillows or curtains or pillow cases for that matter. As long as you're applying them to a fabric that is friendly, there are many uses for heat transfers.

Please see our application instructions here. If you're apprehensive about applying the iron on transfers yourself, you can always have a professional do it for you. Vendors that may have a heat press machine include printers, screen printers and embroidery shops.

I want to design my own transfer or turn my logo into a heat transfer. Can you do that?
Yes. The manufacturer of these heat transfers can replicate a graphic or logo for you to your exact specifications. However, there is a process involved. This same process would also apply if you wanted to shrink or enlarge an existing transfer shown on this website. It all begins with a price quote from the manufacturer. Price quotes can take one to two weeks. If you accept their bid, the next step is doing a sample. They charge a $60/hour artist fee for their designer to create your custom sample transfer. You may have an actual transfer in stones and/or nail heads OR a digital print out of your design. This sample will then be sent to you for approval. This process may have to be repeated if the sample doesn't work for you. Once a sample is approved, you will be required to order a minimum of $450 worth of your custom transfer. For example if your custom transfer costs $10/piece, you will need to order 45 of them. If your transfer costs $3/piece, you will need to order 150 of them, etc.
